Healing...

HEALING...

Brad’s wounds are healing quickly!

Our fears are being calmed.

We’re back to our normal routine

What will LAST
from the experience of Brad’s mugging?

Our prayer matches with God’s promise...

Ecclesiastes 3:11  He has made everything beautiful
in His time.
Romans 8:28  And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him...

We feel thrilled to have already experienced something absolutely beautiful that only God could bring about...

You may remember that after Brad was attacked, he drove himself for a little while but then passed out.  A modern day "Good Samaritan" offered to drive the car to the hospital with Brad in the passenger’s seat.  The man that drove our car is Charles.

This is Charles driving our car - this time NOT sitting in a seat covered with glass and blood.
Last week, we were honored to visit Charles in his home.   Where he lives, and how he lives were absolutely humbling to us.

Kibera - the slum where Charles lives... one of the areas we came to Kenya to serve!
Sam - leading the way on the "road" to his house.
We enjoyed hearing his version of what that day was like.  Most touching was the realization that he had been very late to work that day.  He actually risked loosing his job, offering to get Brad to the hospital.   Amazing love and a true sacrifice!

We anticipate finding God’s goodness in more ways than this as we walk out of a difficult situation, being held up by the promise of His love and faithfulness, encompassed by his peace.
