I'm rereading the title of this post
and reeling back from the shock.
It's true.
She KILLED her baby yesterday!
I remember when he was born - we helped pay the bill so she could take him home.
I remember his first smiles.
I remember his crying in our care while she looked for a place to live and escape a drunken husband's abuse.
I also remember her tears... as she talked about her own upbringing... the pain. The forced prostitution... the marriage at the age of 12...
Now a teen-aged mama of 2 boys, we've tried to walk with her through each struggle...
But yesterday, she lost all HOPE!
How my heart aches!!!
My heart aches for our neighborhood. For each girl, mama, lady who is desperate today. And I long to reach out to each one of them - better than I did with Silvia - to share the only HOPE that will get them through those depserate times...
Please pray with me for Silvia today!

Oh dear God of mercy, how can this happen?! Camie, I pray for your heart today and the days to come. I pray for this dear mama for Light to come into her darkness. I'm so sorry for your pain.

O cammie my heart aches for her and the others I cant Imagine . I pray through my tears for this woman and the others . Keep me updated on things to pray for . O I wish there was more I could do for them .

ReplyDeleteI pray for this young momma right now. God have mercy on her in her hour of desperation and aloneness. Be with her and show her your love. Thank you for sending Camie to care for her soul. Welcome this baby in your everlasting arms.
ReplyDeleteI am very sorry for this and i can't imagine that it has finally happened this way. I pray that God may Give us strength,power and knowledge so as to be able to handle this complicated matters in Kenya. Praying for more wisdom.
